Art: Magritte

Late night conversations cause my mind to wander...

At least there are some spaces in the valley where we can loiter and keep drinking coffee 'til midnight. 'Tis a shame I have had 7 shots of espresso in the last three hours. Why do I do this to myself?

  1. Hey, Monica,
I was wondering if you could suggest a novel by either Barbara Kingsolver or Cormac McCarthy. Our english class wants us to read a book by either of them for our summer work. Id really appreciate any input! :)
    Thanks,

  2. 'ello, 'ello!

I have Kingsolver's Poisonwood Bible that I would be more than happy to pass onto you. Definitely not one of my favorite novels, stashing it into the same Congo village hysteria category as Heart of Darkness, but it has some good points. Others enjoyed it far more than myself...

As for McCarthy, I know of a few people who read The Road, but I have not had an inclination to pick up a copy for myself.

I work on Tuesday night if you want to roll by The Heart and pick up Poisonwood Bible.

    Cheers!
