Short Story: Holes

He whispers "are you ready?"
She nods.
In a split second they fall - fall down a hole of possibilities.
"When does it end?" she asks.
"It is only beginning."

New beginnings. New mistakes. New discoveries.
Much deserved and highly anticipated.

Such is life.

I merely stand at the opening, observing.
A nearby hole emanates my name as the gentleman Prince bellows from below: "you're a sinner, I don't care."

I am ready for my beginning, and I don't care either, dear Prince. Maybe you can make some time? Until then, Prince can serenade me.

"Woah, woah, Woah, woah..."
